Featuring the EXO Crimp Frame with the EXO-EX and the EZ-RJ45 interchangeable die sets, the EXO CST Kit has everything you need to cut, strip, and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cables. The EZ-RJ45 Die works with standard EZ-RJ45 connectors to terminate Cat5e cables while the EXO-EX Die works with the ezEX™44 and ezEX™48 connectors to terminate larger Cat6 and Cat6A cables.

Platinum Tools EXO Crimp Frame w/ EXO-EX Die: This EXO Crimp Frame comes equipped with Platinum Tools EXO-EX die which is designed specifically for the exEZ-RJ45 connector. If you are not familiar with the ezEX-RJ45 connectors, they were engineered specifically for terminating larger diameter twisted-pair cables with conductor sizes up to .048in. The exEZ-RJ45 allows for the larger wire by cleverly staggering each conductor. As with all EZ connectors, the wiring can be quickly verified by the wires protruding prior to crimping. It is important to note the exEZ-RJ45 connectors can only be crimped with this EXO crimper and EXO-EX Die.

Platinum Tools EZ-RJ45 Die for EXO Crimp Frame: The patented EZ-RJ45 Die from Platinum Tools is used with the EXO Crimp Frame to terminate EZ-RJ45 connectors. The EZ-RJ45 Die is interchangeable and reversible when used with EXO Crimp Frame. Designed for the original pass through EZ-RJ45 connectors which are a standard in the industry.
